The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued an alert regarding heavy rainfall expected in several districts of Punjab and Azad Kashmir over the next 12 to 24 hours.
Cities including Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, and Jhelum are at risk of urban flooding, while hilly areas like Neelum Valley, Bagh, and Muzaffarabad in Azad Kashmir may experience landslides and flash floods.
Authorities are urging the public to avoid rivers and low-lying areas, limit unnecessary travel, and stay updated with official safety advisories.
