Flyadeal Expands to Pakistan: New Flights to Peshawar and Islamabad Launched!

Flyadeal, the low-cost airline from Saudi Arabia, has expanded its services in Pakistan by launching new flight operations to Peshawar and Islamabad, as announced by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) on August 25, 2025. This marks another significant step in Flyadeal’s growing presence in the Pakistani market, following its inaugural flight to Karachi earlier this year.

The Jeddah-based airline, a subsidiary of Saudia Airlines, had already begun operations in Pakistan with its debut flight to Karachi on February 1. In the latest expansion, Flyadeal’s inaugural flight to Islamabad arrived at Islamabad International Airport from Riyadh, carrying 65 passengers. The return flight saw a significantly higher number, with 172 passengers aboard. On August 25, Flyadeal took its services further, launching its first flight to Peshawar, landing at Bacha Khan International Airport from Riyadh.

To better serve passengers, Flyadeal will now operate two weekly flights between Riyadh and Peshawar every Monday and Wednesday. Additionally, the airline will offer weekly flights from Riyadh to Islamabad every Sunday.

The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) welcomed the new services, highlighting that these flights will enhance connectivity between the two nations, making travel more convenient for passengers while further strengthening the bilateral relationship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Flyadeal’s new routes align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 plan, which aims to boost tourism by attracting over 150 million international and domestic visitors annually by the end of the decade.

Saudi Arabia is a popular destination for thousands of Pakistanis, particularly for religious and tourism purposes. The Kingdom is also home to over 2.5 million Pakistani expatriates, reinforcing the cultural and economic ties between the two countries.
