RAWALPINDI – An egg was hurled at PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khanum, on Friday while she was addressing a press conference.
The shocking incident, captured on video, spread rapidly across news channels and social media platforms, showing Aleema’s startled reaction when the egg was thrown.
According to Islamabad High Court lawyer and member of Imran Khan’s legal team, Fida Hussain Abbasi, two unidentified women were responsible for the act.
> “The act of throwing eggs at @Aleema_KhanPK by two unidentified women is shameful and strongly condemned. Such disgraceful attacks will not weaken our struggle,” Abbasi posted on X (formerly Twitter).
The incident has drawn strong criticism, with supporters condemning it as an attempt to humiliate rather than engage in political dialogue
