iPhone 17 (Standard)
6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion (up to 120 Hz), thinner borders, and Always-On display.
Ceramic Shield 2 on the front for 3× better scratch resistance, with anti-glare coatings. Peak brightness hits 3000 nits—brightest yet.
iPhone Air
Apple’s thinnest iPhone ever at just 5–5.5 mm thick, with a polished titanium chassis.
6.5-inch 120 Hz screen delivers smooth visuals, but battery size (~3149 mAh) raises slight questions.
iPhone 17 Pro & Pro Max
New aluminum unibody with laser-welded vapor chamber for heat control and extended battery life.
Ceramic Shield covers both front and back—front is 3× more scratch-resistant, back now also reinforced.
Available in Deep Blue, Cosmic Orange, and Silver (black is notably gone).
3. Power & Performance
iPhone 17: A19 chip delivers smooth, efficient performance with all-day battery life and 30 hours of video (8 hours more than iPhone 16). Battery management also improved via Adaptive Power Mode in iOS 26.
Pro models & iPhone Air: Powered by the A19 Pro chip, pushing Apple Intelligence and graphics.

Rear Cameras (All Models)
iPhone 17: Dual Fusion system—48 MP main with 2× optical-quality telephoto, plus 48 MP Ultra-Wide for macro and wide shots.
Pro models: Triple 48 MP Fusion system including main, ultra-wide, and new telephoto with an impressive 8× optical-quality zoom (longest yet).
Front Cameras
All models now feature the new Center Stage front camera with a square sensor (up to 18 MP), great for selfies and face tracking.
Video Features
4K60 fps Dolby Vision, Cinematic mode, Action mode, spatial audio, wind-noise reduction, and Audio Mix to adjust sound post-capture.
5. Connectivity & Security
N1 networking chip brings support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread—better AirDrop, hotspot, and smart-home performance.
Apple introduced Memory Integrity Enforcement (MIE)—a major memory safety upgrade using EMTE and other protections to guard critical OS and user processes.
6. Storage, Price & Color Options
No more 128 GB base option—start with 256 GB. iPhone 17 in India starts at ₹82,900.
U.S. pricing: iPhone 17 from $799, Pro from $1,099, Pro Max up to $1,199 or $1,999 for 2 TB.
7. Sustainability
iPhone 17 uses 30% recycled materials, including 85% recycled aluminum and 100% recycled cobalt. Packaging is 100% fiber-based
